Limit Content Download vs Check for New Content

We have a player in a very limited bandwidth location. It requires us to limit the content download window. If the player has a download window from 1:00-3:00am, does the 'check for new content' frequency need to occur within the same time period, i.e. no more than every 2 hours?

    We set the "Content Check Frequency" to every 5 minutes.  So during the "Limit content downloads"  period of 0100 to 0300, it will check every 5 minutes for content and pull if a new sync spec is found.


    Also we set "Update Health Frequency" to 5 minutes so that during the "Limit health updates" period it will check in every 5 minutes.

    So the "Frequency" settings are how often the event happens during the window you set.

    Mostly we don't set limits but some customers have our players on their point of sale network and we do limit bandwidth and downloads.
