HD223 MICROSD CARD FORMATING

I'm sorry if this is an elementary question, I am unable to find info on this...

I am working with a HD223 player.  I am using the SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I 64GB cards.  Will these cards work with the player?  Do I format them to NTFS before using?

Any other helpful info would be great.

Thanks in advance

That card should be fine, I don't think I have used 64GB in the SanDisk Ultra, but I have a bunch of 32GB.

As long as you do not have any single files larger than 4GB, format the cards in FAT32 (or also exFAT should be fine for the HD223 and newer players).

    • You must format your SDHC or SDXC card as FAT32 or exFAT. Note that exFAT is only supported by Series 3 and Series 4 players (XTx44, XTx43, XDx34, XDx33, HDx23, LS423) running firmware 6.2.94 or later. You can also format your card using NTFS, but the player will not be able to receive network updates or generate logs (i.e. it cannot write to the card).
