We currently have a standard signage layout screen (one section is running a HDMI in).
Every 15 mins we want to show a full screen advert (these differ in length 30secs to 2 mins), but the interupt function only allows full minute intervals, we ideally dont want to pad the adverts out??....
Anybody know a fix round this?
I did something similar for Social Media wall at an event.
Create a full screen video zone on top of all of your other zones.
Create a full screen transparent PNG in Photoshop the same size at this zone (1920x1080?).
Start of displaying the transparent PNG as the first item in the chain. Add a timer for 900 seconds (15min) linking to first video. Then add a media end to the transparent PNG, then another timer for 900 seconds (subtracting time of last video if you want accurate 15 min intervals) linking to the next video, etc. Continue this chain for all of your full screen adverts, with the end linking back to the first transparent PNG at the beginning of the chain to create a loop.
If you have audio in any of your other zones, you will need to add Advanced Entry and Exit commands to set Zone Volume to 0 and back to 100 for each video for those zones with audio in them.
The transparent PNG will let everything underneath show through, then the full screen video(s) will play on top when they come up.
