HD223 not working with FAT32 format

I've been banging my head against the wall for days attempting to get this HD223 to work. I tried several different standalone/network configurations, different presentations, EVERYTHING ... and the error light would just flash 10 times after loading the presentation.

Finally, I formatted the SD card with NTFS and it worked immediately. I do not have any presentation files over 4GB.

Anyone know what is up with this?

That doesn't make sense.  NTFS is mounted read-only by the player, so any attempt to write to an NTFS volume would cause a crash.

The only scenario that might be plausible is the card/filesystem was corrupt, reformatting fixed the corruption (perhaps only temporarily, but time will tell), you're publishing a Standalone presentation, not using User Variables, not logging, and not using Remote Snapshots.  That's a lot of ands, but it would make sense.

Have you tried reformatting the card back to FAT32, or exFAT (if you have firmware 6.2.94 or newer) and seeing it if still crashes with a presentation?

If it still does, submit a support ticket and include the downloaded log from the player's Diagnostic Web Server at http://playerIPaddress/log.html (replace playerIPaddress with the player's LAN IP)
