Operating System question for BrightSign HD1020 unit

Greetings.

The touchscreen controller board for our outdoor Kiosk using a HD1020 unit has become damaged.  I am trying to replace the controller board for the touchscreen but the manufacturers want to know the OS I am running on to ensure they give us the correct drivers.  Does anybody know the answer to this?

The old board was a Zytronic ZXY-U-OFF-64-A board.

Thanks

- Colin

Most current day touch screen controllers are HID Compliant now (no drivers needed).

In the simplest terms it is a Linux OS, but let them know you can not load any drivers.

If they have a newer HID Compliant controller board, that should work with the BrightSign Players.

You may also want to forward this link to them:
