HTML5 savvy folks HELP!

I am in need of some advice from folks with an understanding of HTML5 and making easily editable content.

I have found that one of the ways to create dynamic content is through the use of HTML5 (I am using Adobe Animate). However, I am more of a digital media designer/content creator and not great with code.

I am looking for suggestions and help with how to produce an HTML5 page that contains information which could easily be edited by a client. I briefly recall learning that it is possible to have an XML document with the editable information (that is being sourced by the HTML5 page), and that a client can go and change the text in the XML to change the text on the HTML5 page?

An example would be a menu board that contains items on the menu, and how to make it possible for the client to easily edit an item's NAME, PRICE, CALORIES, or other bits of information about an item, without needing to resort to contacting myself anytime an item were to change.

Thank you for any help given!!!!
