Best setup for networked standalone XD1034

I'm trying to setup a project, for a XD1034, so I can control it via an AMX. However, I am having issues setting it's IP address.

I've already gone through the BrightAuthor and set it's address to 192.168.200.27, but it insists on using DHCP. I selected it as a Standalone.

Oh, I also gave it a name, which it also ignored.

I can see that the setup.xml file does contain these settings, but it is having no effect.

So, any clues how to get this box to set it's IP address and hostname?

Not sure if it is important, but I put the project on the card, as well as the setup files, and I'm updating it by taking the SD card out and writing to it, then re-inserting it, and then powering on.

It's essential that you write the setup files to the card then power up the player with the card to apply the configuration.

DO NOT publish a presentation to the card or do anything else between.  If you write a presentation to the card immediately after writing the setup files, before running the setup files on the player, the presentation files will run over the setup files and the setup will not take effect.

    Ah...thank you. I understand now.

So, I put in the SD card with the setup files, turn on, wait for it to do it's thing, turn off, remove the card, blank it, put the presentation on, then re-insert and power up?

Yes, when setup completes it will give you a message that you should remove the card (to put content on, then put it back in and reboot the player).
