HTML5 and the BSN

I have client that has a handful of players which they upload content to through the BSN. They don't use BrightAuthor, just basic presentations of full screen images and videos. They're interested in adding weather widgets (to start) to some presentations. I realise that this would be best done through HTML5 but I'm not clear on whether this needs its own web server to hold the HTML5 that the player gets the webpage from, or if it can be just on the BSN.

You'd need to use BrightAuthor, to include HTML in a presentation.

Content managed from BSN, can be combined into a BrightAuthor generated presentation, so you can maintain the existing content management workflow.

Integrating weather info from screenfeed.com is easy through HTML5 state in BrightAuthor.

For weather, we use https://weatherwidget.io/ and it works well and looks cool. Lots of options and if you know CSS/HTML you can tweak it a bit.
