HD210 Sync Issue

Very basic set up causing annoying difficulties. 

 

Two projectors (Sony VPL FZ550)

Two HD210 BrightSigns

Linked via Cat6 

Authored using legacy BrightAuthor, Fat32 cards, all files to container/codec/size reqs for HD210.

Running Firmware version 3.11.11

Will play videos perfectly fine when not linked, but as soon as they are linked and rebooted, will cause projector to display 'Out of Range'.

Yes they are old BrightSign models, but that is all we have.

Has anyone come across this before or found a solution?

  You could try and examine a player's log, and look for clues there.

  Do you know why the projector indicates out of range? Put differently, what is the player video output format, while the projector shows out of range? You could find the players output format, by examining the Diagnostic Web Server page.

   

  Do you have a direct connection from the player to the projector, or going through video extender, matrix, etc...?
