We have a very simple presentation. One full screen video zone, with an HTML5 widget pointing to a Vimeo video (7min) that doesn't have a timeout. It just endlessly loops forever
The video successfully plays for a duration of time, sometimes minutes, sometimes hours, but then randomly an error on screen will be displayed: "Player Error" "The player is having trouble. We'll have it back up and running as soon as possible".
Vimeo FAQ states "If you are seeing this error, it’s likely that you are viewing your video in a browser tab or window that’s been left idle for an extended period of time. A quick refresh of the player or your browser should clear the error."
A repush/save of the presentation or a reboot of the device kicks it back in to gear, but that's obviously something
I've tried giving the video a 15min timeout, then display a black screen for 5 seconds, in hopes it goes back to the video again for another 15min, but that doesn't seem to be working/helping.
Whats the deal? Thanks.
