I'm working with BrightAuthor on a Local File Networking interactive presentation, with master/slave enhanced sync on 3 XD234 and UDP inputs to control volume, playback, etc. One specific content is supposed to change every day, my idea is to configure BrightAuthor to point at an ftp server that is hosted locally in a Laptop, so the content provider can acces from Internet and change the clip, but the player read the file from the Laptop through the LAN. In this way the "streaming" is local and it's no affected by temporary Internet failure due to the 5G connection.
Is it possible? maybe an HTML5 can point to an ftp server?
