LS424 Serial 3.5 mm Problem

Hi,

LS424 units have a problem using the USB C to USB A and 3.5mm Serial Cable adapter. They can only receive serial data but they don't send. The same adapter we use with LS423 and it works great.

Apparently it is a firmware problem. Please help :)

    The problem is BrightAuthor 4.7.2.18, this no enable serial port. It be enabled using roRegistrySection:

    registrySection = CreateObject ("roRegistrySection", "usb")

    registrySection.Write ("type_c_serial", "1")

    LS423 units do not need the specification but LS424 units do.

    Hi Alejandro. Sorry, I have a simple question: Where should I write these lines?
    In the "autorun.brs" on top?
