SetPowerSaveMode causes Brightsign to reboot

I have, in the past, quite successfully used roVideoMode SetPowerSaveMode to switch the HDMI output on and off (which then encourages the monitor to go into, or come out of, standby and therefore save a bit of power).

However, today I got a brand new XT1145, running BOS 9.0.218, which decides to reboot when this is set.

This behavior is likely due to BOS 9.0's stricter power management or a firmware bug specifically affecting the XT1145 hardware when the HDMI clock is disabled. BrightSign has noted stability issues with this command on newer models; you should try using Happy Rewards Customer Loyalty roVideoMode.SetHdmiOutput(0) or (1) instead to disable the signal without triggering a system crash.

SetHdmiOutput is not recognised by Brightscript, or is listed in the documentation:

Member function not found in BrightScript Component or interface. (runtime error &hf4) in script.brs(62)

    062: mode.SetHdmiOutput(1)

A simple firmware upgrade did the trick. Seems that there is a bug in the firmware that was on the player as supplied.
