Hello! I just got a few HD1022s to work with and noticed their Firmware is 7.1.65 ... I am curious to know what version of BrightScriptReference I would need to know to get started writing custom scripts for these players. I cannot for the life of me find any standard reference or database showing the history of Brightscript and Legacy players on Brightsign's website anywhere....perhaps the way to find out is here in the Support Community. Looking forward to hearing from someone who knows for sure. Thank you!

Steven Seems very simple what I want to do...i downloaded the Brightscript Reference 7...and would simply like to, upon startup, create a text file, and have throughout the script values read and written to said file. seems rather a simple task to do...but I need assistance. Can't seem to figure out the objects and how to write it simply so I can refer to it through the creation of a playlist, a playlist count, and saving a variable to mark where the playlist count is currently at...always updated to the current state. how can i get the script to write to 1)create a file 2)read a file 3)note the contents of the file (one number), change this number based on current state, and then continue through the script. ? anyone remember how to do it? or does anyone know how to do it? looking for the proper syntax with this operating system...HD1022 with 7.1.65 firmware. thank you!
