Good morning, I am responsible for a network of 200 brightsign xt1144 units, and want to enable SNMP. Is there a guide to follow that I can use to enable SNMP monitoring of these units.

Jeff E I found the easiest way to enable snmp on these is to add it to the Main sub in autorun. I would like to know how to change the community string though.

Julian Panisset What properties are you monitoring via SNMP? I'm trying to use PRTG to monitor a test device and haven't found any information about what the unit can actually provide out of the box...

Jeff E I was interested in doing some monitoring with Zabbix, but there is little useful information that is provided out of the box. Mainly getting basic system information from .1.3.6.1.2.1.1
There was another support article that provided details on how to use Brightscript to insert other system values into the MIB. But honestly I didn't find much that would be useful to monitor. Sadly, like most other Brightsign features there is little useful documentation available

Julian Panisset Thanks Jeff. I seem to be having a problem getting snmpd to start - but I am using a different model. Probably need to update the firmware or something.
