audio dropouts with Brightwall

I have a 3 channel setup with Brightwall
video 1920x1080 23,976p
playback in 60p setup on HD220 fw 6.1.76

H264 20mbps .mp4
stereo ACC 224kb CBR stereo  analog out

I followed all encoding guidelines and tried all different datarates
SD cards 80mb/s class 10 Sandisk

When video played as a single source there's no problem

when playing in sync with Brightwall setup audio gaps irregularly for a few milliseconds. especially in audio parts which have a low background noise.

does anyone has an idea what causing this?

thanks

Ivo

Is it possible for you to send us the videos to test with?

without more info it's hard to say, but if the sd card isn't keeping up doing both playback and sync, then that could cause issues.

The cards easily can keep up.  there are 80mbps rated class 10. playing video at 17mbps or 23mbps, tried both.

Does the brightwall synchronization pauses the master video for miliseconds in order to synchronize?

I can transfer you the file. please indicate which email address to use.

Cards don't always perform at their rating. We've found some cards that are horrible at both reading and writing at the same time and perform well below their rating. So, if available, I would still test a different card. No, there's no pausing of the video during playback to sync. The master sends out the sync info. it doesn't adjust to the slaves.
