file size on bright wall / codec

Hi  I use the brightwall for a 1x3  horizontal screen  each FHD  => 5760x1080 px

witch codec do I need for the clip.

I like to use the "stretched " Mode with "scale to Fill"

it works only with FHD / 1920x1080 h.264 file

but not with a h.265

and not with 5760x1080 / different odecs

 We use the LS422

    Hi,

We typically crop our video wall canvas to FHD videos, and synchronize them with BrightWalls, using the Regular mode. (Not Stretched mode)

In Stretched mode, each player needs to play your video, and each player can play formats that are supported. The LS422 does not support 5760x1080.

    Here is the LS422 datasheet

    http://www.brightsign.biz/application/files/4514/5457/9546/LS-datasheet-final.pdf

For best visual result, create 3 FHD videos, and encode for BrightSign.

If you have to use Stretched mode, and don't mind loosing resolution, you could export your canvas as 1920x1080, and keep the bottom 2/3 black, as it is going to be ignored. In such scenario each display would show 1920/3 = 640 pixels across...

If the viewer is far enough from the video wall, that might work.

    I hope that helped
