BA don´t open without a connected monitor / open only with Monitor // edit title

Hi I  use the BrightAuthor version 4.6.0.8  and after the Windows did the update , (in this case i don´t like Win10)  it dont start !

it open the window , ok it try it but it is a empy white frame.

When I  try to open a saved file it says that teh file was create with a newer ver.  ???

 Anny ideas?

    When that happens to me, I use the Windows Task Manager to terminate any BrightAuthor background processes, that may still be running.

    Hi it is not the Problem to kill the softwar, it starts without any grafix!!

    so it open an realy white empty Window!

    only on the top there is the [Name of the project  . LS422 BrightAuthor]

    I can also use shortcuts by key for example Strg+N for a new project it opens a new window with [New project] in the top line and the rest is white.

    this looks like that the grafix from the software are lost.

    I use a win10 PC without a screen. only remote

    Sorry but have not come across such behavior of BA.

    I can only assume that the windows update overwrote something that BA is using, like .Net, or something network related.

    In your situation, I would try to re-install BA.

    Since you have the will, I'm sure that you'll find the way :)

    I found the Problem ...

    if there is no monitor on the PC it doesnt work, but if I connect a screen it works .

    now I think that the grafikcard switch in a low power mode

     It is a intel Atop x5-Z833 PC  called "Narrow Box 4k" CLS Computer

    TNX I have some here, but the PC is 300 km far away :-(

    I think I need to send them one .

    I use it as an local update server for 4 LS433, and with a screen it worked fin in my office, but now .... shit happens

    but it is strange that all other soware works fine exept BA do it need special harware only for the editor?

    We use the same method, and have been in such situation.

    While the display emulation plug is in transit, you could try this. If there is a spare HDMI cable run in that location, you could ask someone to connect the PC to a second HDMI input in one of the displays.

    Which remote control software are you using BTW?
