SOLVED: Trouble with XD232 setup and connection including changing IP address

UPDATE: Please ignore. I discovered that when creating the setup file the IP address I specified was off by one, and was trying to do setup using an IP address already assigned to another unit.

I have multiple XD232s and while pushing a presentation to one of them, it stopped displaying on the connected display, and I could no longer connect to it in the Manage tab of Bright Author. It reported "Unable to Connect" despite specifying the correct login and password.

I followed the directions on the support page to wipe the unit and create a new setup file. While creating the setup file I chose to specify an IP address (as we had previously set up each XD232 with its own IP) and input 10.0.1.81.

I also chose to have it update the Firmware.

I powered off the unit, plugged in the card, and powered on the unit.

It completed setup (including the firmware) but the screen now shows IP 10.0.1.114, and I cannot add it to the Manage tab on BrightAuthor with that IP address.

Q: Why did it not use the IP address I specified in the setup file?

Q: Why can I not add it to the manage tab using the new IP address it somehow assigned to itself?

Q: Why does it say "Set up complete you may remove the card"? What do I do after that?

Thanks in advance.

Firmware 6.2.45

Did you also fix the publishing method, setting Networked with Local File Networking instead of Standalone?
