Comparing LS423 to HD220

How does the LS423 compare to say an older HD220 as for as general performance?

Right now I have a small inventory of mainly HD220's and HD1020's that I use for small events and short term projects.

I have slowly been adding to my inventory with used players in good condition at the right price, but they are getting harder to find.

Looks like the LS423 may be the best current option for a basic player replacement to the HD220's, I don't really need VGA, RS-232, and GPIO, which seem to be the only major things really missing.

Is there any other major features that are missing that I am not noticing?

I will probably order one to review using some of my current project types to see how it performs.

I'm just looking for some opinions from others on this unit as well, before I commit to making it my next go-to player to start adding to my inventory.

  The performance should be a little better on the LS423.  

  -they use micro sds instead of fullsize

  -analog audio is via usbc with a usbc to analog adapter (not included)

  Are there any specific usbc to analog audio adapter that work with the Brightsign players?
