RSS Ticker showing old content

Hi,

I have set up an RSS ticker on my presentation and it works fantastic scrolling and updating every 5 minutes.

When the RSS is updated to have no content however, it still shows the old feed content until I add new content to the feed again. I would prefer that it shows no content at all rather than old content. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can achieve this?

    Hi Brandon,

     

    We are seeing the same behavior here, and were told that a fix is coming in firmware 6.2.x.

    In the meantime, we custom coded a feed parser, which when it detects the empty feed, it hides the Ticker zone.
