XD1230 player dropping off network after publishing content

We are having issues with 3 separate XD1230 players which will happily receive and display simple media (eg a photo) but when video files are published to the devices they crash and disappear off the network, requiring a full reset to bring them back to life. Any suggestions as to what we should try to remedy this problem please ?

    We have seen this for two reasons so far...though it is rare.

    1.  Videos encoded improperly.  When we followed the guidelines from BrightSign we resolved the issues.

    2.  One particular client publishing from BA 4.3.0.16 from within their network was corrupting some of the files.  The same client publishing from our network or even their home network had no issues.  We never resolved that one satisfactorily.
