How do I add audio files to play in the background of my presentation, that mute when a video is playing, and comes back on for the next non-video slide?

Alex What BrightSign model do you have? I will prepare a sample presentation and send it to you.

Pati Maguy Hi Alex, thank you...I have an XD232.
I can accept up to 10MB; with our security, not sure if I can accept zip files. I work for a financial institution.
thanks!

Alex Link to sample presentation:
and link to video showing how presentation was made in BrightAuthor:
Important note: if video files contain audio, then you must verify that audio sampling rate in video and audio files is equal (48kHz or 44.1kHz), otherwise playback may fail.

Pati Maguy Hey Alex, I have a question...btw, GREAT "how-to" video!
Say if I have 4 slides, then a video, then 4 slides and another video, do I have to create the timeout and media end events for each?
right now, I have a slide show with the images and mp4's...so if I want to add the audio in between the mp4's, I need to create the new presentation in the "interactive" mode adding the timeout's where needed? Do you know what I'm sayin'?

Alex You can open a zone that contains images and videos and switch a playlist type to "interactive". BrightAuthor will automatically create necessary events between the media files.
Then you add Zone Volume commands to events which lead to and from the videos.
