Brightwall Configuration

Hi there,

We're setting up a new Brightwall and we're having a hard time configuring the presentation.  Here is what we are trying to accomplish.

We have 3 monitors placed side by side (1 Row, 3 Columns).  The 3 monitors are playing 1920x1080 30P content synchronized together. We are using 3 4K242 monitors ethernetted to the network.

The presentation should look like this - GOOD

However, the content is stretched vertically on each of the monitors and looks like this - BAD

Somewhere in the configuration it thinks my monitors are turned to portrait mode, but everywhere I see, we are properly configured for Landscape.

Any insight as to what we are doing wrong?

Thanks,

Noel

    Hello,

What BrightAuthor version do you have (Help -> About BrightAuthor)?

What firmware version is installed on your 4K242 units?

Open BrightWall presentation in BrightAuthor, go to File > Export "name_of_your_brightwall" > browse to empty folder on your PC > click OK.

Zip folder and send a download link.

Thanks for the quick reply Alex.  We're running BrightAuthor version 4.6.0.14 using Firmware version 6.2.63

You can download the presentation here...

I published your BrightWall to my three 4K units (firmware 6.2.63) and it plays fine. You can see my results on the photo below.

Please check scaling settings on your displays. If you can't control scaling on the displays, you can compensate for overscan in BrightAuthor. Open your BrightWall project, click File > BrightWall Presentation Properties. Select Configuration tab > Edit BrightWall Configuration, specify Monitor overscan. You can turn on 1 of two overscan options. It will pull in the brightsign content so it all fits on the screen even if the display is set to overscan.

    Refer to BrightAuthor documentation: http://docs.brightsign.biz/display/DOC/Creating+a+BrightWall+Presentation
