We use stretched screen in portrait mode, the screen res is H-1920 pixels / W-502 pixels. We run on it HTML with embedded video as BG, with the same full dimensions.
However, it seems the Brightsign we use (XT243) can't show embedded videos larger than H-1080, and our video is being cut.
Is there any way to manage that within the XT243 player?
I don't understand what you mean by the video is being cut. So the video plays but it's truncated? Your player can handle 4k k content. What if you play the video in the brightauthor zone, and not in the html, do you have the same issue? Are you using brightauthor at all? Is the project file you created a portrait proejct or landscape project if using brightauthor?
