Allow customer to update content

We have developed a digital signage project for a real state agency,

The display shows sequentaly the available propierties including text (price, number of rooms, area, reference number...) and a list of images.

We use Live Text and User variables to show the text content, so the customer can easily update this content usingn BrighSign app or a browser.

We also would like to allow the customer to easily update also the image list. Which could be the most simple way?

    BrightSign network (BSN) Live Media feeds are a good way to manage such data.

    All content management, would be done from the BSN web interface, so content management can be done from anywhere with internet connection and a web browser.

    The BSN live media feed, is like a mini database, which allows creation of custom fields. See screenshot with example.

    Such solution may require some custom coding.

     

    The advantage of using a feed, is that all information about a property is in a single location, so the image is tied to the rest of the information.

     

    If you need to build something more flexible, you could also consider using a great solution provider like SignCast Feeds. The advantage of using SignCast, is that all the heavy lifting is done on the server side, and the brightsign only presents pre rendered images. That makes the system very stable, and simple to manage.
