how to use both audio & other usb devices (touchscreen) with the LS423

Dear Sir/Madam,

Our touchscreen is connected with usb and has no speakers build-in. So we need a analog output from the Brightsign to connect external speakers to it.

The problem now is that we also need the usb c port for the touchscreen as well for the analog audio dongle.

We tried to extract the audio from the hdmi port but due the hdmi protocol its difficult to get it work.

could anybody help us out?

The HD1023 may be a better match for the application, as it has the USB A, and analog audio built-in.

Yes, the HD1023 would be a better option for this purpose.  On the LS423 the only way to get analog audio while using USB data would be to extract it from the HDMI.

You may be able to find a display that has analog output or variable output decoded from the HDMI.  I know some TVs have this option, but I don't know of any touchscreens that do off-hand.
