WebUI/Player tagging feature request

It would be awesome if we could set user variables as tags that can be viewed in the WebUI.

 

Since we use these for core functionality in some presentations, it would be great if we could just see the value of them on a particular player through the Web UI, similar to how system variables are now available.

I know they can be viewed using the device webpage, but we have a lot of players on different networks in geographically diverse locations, so accessing the device webpage isn't an option for us. We also turned it off for these, since adjusting them manually could cause big problems.

    I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. You want to see what tags are assigned tot he player via the diag server?

    Nope. There is currently a feature in the WebUI that lets you pick a system variable as a tag. So when you're looking at the players in the WebUI, you can quickly see whatever the value of the system variable is. What I am suggesting is that we also have the ability to tag them in that same way, but with user variables.
