GPIO button press for ever

Hello community,

I'm new to BrightSign and have a question about how to transform an one time GPIO event to continuous. The setup is as follows:

- BrightSign HD1022
- a HMS GPIO board with three RFID readers.

Each reader sends a short (1sec) "button pressed" event to GPIO 1,2 or 3 when the RFID tag is removed. I need to have two states, like if the button is removed, it sends "1" continuous, if it's put back than "0" continuous. So I can play a video when the RFID tag is removed and stop it when the RFID tag is on place.

Does anyone has an approach how to configure BrightAuthor to always stay in the "button down/up" state till the RFID tag is removed?

Best Regards
Artur

Lest see if I got the the user experience correctly.

    A video is looping.

    The user places the RFID

    The video stops

(What is showing on the screen when the video is stopped?)

    The user removes the RFID

    The video plays

(Do you need it to resume playback, or start from the top?)

Let me know if you'd like to setup a quick call with screen sharing.
