Md-755 Questions

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with the Motion detector MD-755?

I tried contacting the manufacturer and they have not returned my emails, several days ago.

If anyone has any experience with these, here is my scenario..

I am using it to trigger from one presentation to another in BS. Works great, except for the wires are too short to run to where the sensor needs to be mounted. I need to extend the wires, and have extended the three I am using.

The 6 wires go to the pins and correspond as follows( according to BS manual for GPIO out and looking at the wires on the sensor)

Red - 3.3v Pin 8

Black - Gnd Pin2

White - Button 0 I/O Pin 15

Blue - Button 1 I/O Pin 7

Brown - Button 5 I/O Pin 4

Green - Button 2 I/O Pin 13

I am using Black (GND), Red, ( 3.4 V), and White Button 0 trigger. I have Run wires,(roughly about 25 to 30 feet) Have soldered the connections, but the sensor does not work for more than a few minutes. Is there something I am missing? If I do the same thing without the extension it works fine. Power reads about 3 volts at the connection near the sensor.... Do the other button wires need hooked to trigger something not programmed in BA?

Ok, Well, I found the answer, but it Still did not function the way I intended, but Im going to post the info I found here for anyone else who may need it.

All 6 wires must be attached to function, particularly the green wire, which is the reset.

Unfortunately, in my case, the extension did not work, but we found alternative Im working on.
