HD1023 - Checking File Systems... on Diagnostic screen

I have 24 HD1023 players deployed at 6 different geographical locations...4 players per store.  All are running firmware 6.2.94.  

 

Recently 2 players at 2 different locations and running different presentations began rebooting and, when at the diagnostic screen, they display Checking filesystems...  After sitting at the diagnostics screen for a few minutes they reboot again.  They never show content now.  These players had been in the field working for a few months.  Other players running the same presentations are working fine.  I can't get to the DWS because the player reboots too quickly.  I replaced the micro-SD card and the players work fine.

 

Is there any thing I can look at on the SD card to determine what the player doesn't like?

    If you try to log into the player, it's up for 10- 20 seconds before it reboots. Or, is your reboot faster than that?

    Actually I can get to the DWS.  The logs show complaints about Bad short file names in the Pool folder and No Autorun.

    So either their's a problem with the card or the reader. You can try reformatting the card and see if the player still has a problem with it.

    I tried but was unable even to delete the files on either player's micro-SD card.  On one player I used chkdsk to "fix" the micro-SD card and that resolved the issue.  On the other player I formatted it to solve the issue.

     

    These are Lexar cards 300x micro-SD cards.  Now I am worried.
