HD1023 Latency with touch screen

Hi,

I'v got a problem with HD1023 6.2.94 firmware and IIYAMA multitouch screen

I use touch screen to navigate in 200 pictures (question and answer, very simple authoring without variable)

On the morning all work perfectly, after few hours the player come slow, very slow. User must be touch few seconds for HD1023 take input.

If i turn off the player and turn on again, all work perfectly.

I tried to convert picture to video like i see in other post but the problem was the same.

The player is installed to my customer and it's very unpleasant.

Please, could you help to fix this problem ?

thanks a lot !

    Hi,

We would like to try and help, as we understand how inconvenient the situation is.

Is the system being used constantly, or does it sit idle most of the time?

Would you say that, the more it is being used, the more the latency increases?

If the system sits idle for hours, like during the weekend, will it show the same problem?

At this we need to determine, whether the issue is with the programming, or maybe with noisy USB communication.

    Is the USB cable long?

I'd be interested in running your program here, and see if the same issue develops in our environment.

Please export your BrightAuthor presentation to a folder, compress with zip, and send over to us to play with.

We'll be happy to help you with that. Feel free to reach out over skype for a chat.

    Hello,

Thanks a lot for your answer.

The system is used every day, and turn off every night

Ya, more it's being use, more the latency increase.

The system is installed in museum who was open everyday, i don't know if it sits idle , sorry.

The usb cable is 1.80m length (it's the cable who was sell with IIYAMA 42 inch display).

i'll send you the presentation by mail.

    Thanks
