Getting XT1143 firmware across the network

We have several XT1143 devices deployed running from Appspace and am unable to access the Brightsign players current firmware version through Appspace.  I am unable to use DWS in my environtment.  With a mojority of these devices being remote from where I am located, I need a way to know what Brightsign firmware is on the player without plugging in a keyboard and mouse.

I've triued a putty session but cant find the correct log in detail as my Appspace log in does not work.

Is the Diagnostic Web Server enable for those players?

If so, you can go enter the IP of each player in a browser on that same network and login with the Diagnostic Web Server credentials (name/password) that was set when it was set up, and you can found out what version of Firmware, as well as many other useful things.

I highly recommend enabling this if you have not, it makes it easier to check on the player this way.

But make sure you set a good password, especially if the player is on a public IP address.

Jeremy, you mention putty. Did you enable ssh when you setup the players, and that's what you're trying to log into now? The Diagnostic server is on a different port with appspace setup, 8080 instead of 80. I didn't know if you meant it was intentionally disabled.
