Accidentally REMOVED a unit - is it deleted?

Hello Everyone, 

By mistake the Remove Unit button was selected from the drop down on the Manage tab when trying to select View Remote Snapshot. Is there any way to get this back up? It has been 24 hours and besides the initial reply, I have not received any help!

    I'm assuming that you are looking at players on the local network.

    To add the player to the list, simply click on the button at the bottom left of the Manage window, where it reads Add BrightSign.

    You would need to know the player's IP address, and type it in, or identify the player by its host name.

    Host name pattern is brightsign-<serial number goes here>.local

    Alternatively, you can install Bonjour from Apple, which is bundled with iTunes, and AirPort Utility.

    When you have Bonjour installed, and you allow BrightAuthor to use it through menu Edit->Preferences->Networking, the player should be discovered automatically by BrightAuthor when you refresh the Manage page.

    Not sure when you sent it but looks like it arrived in the support queue at 3:27 PM Pacific today (Fri Aug 25).

    Power cycling the player should get it back on the BSN Network immediately as long as it has a valid subscription. Otherwise it should reregister on its next content check.
