Unable to open project

I have just installed BrightAuthor 4.6.0.36 on my mac with VMWare running Windows 10 Pro.

I have a project that I can open on a Windows laptop running BrightAuthor 4.6.0.35.

When I try to open the project on my mac BrightAuthor is not able to open the project. The only error message I get is: “unable to open <path to project file>”.
I can’t start over with this project since a consultant have worked with it and it seems bad that I would have to redo everything myself.

I have tested this without success:

I have also tested to export the project without success.

Does anyone have a solution for this really weird and really annoying problem?

    I was wrong. The link kind of solves the problem. I set the language settings to exactly the same with time formats etc.

    This is a really bad bug. Being able to share projects between computers is very important when working with other people and also the ability to switch computer without complications.

    I'm hoping that the BrightAuthor developers fix this as soon as possible. The problem should not be hard to solve and not hard to reproduce. Language settings and date and time formats is probably not handled correctly.
