What are you guys using to convert the AC3 passthrough out of the optical or HDMI to RCA or balanced outputs? Is there any converter or DA readily accessible?

Brandon That Gefen converter will work with a TV or device that has an AC3 decoder (and outputs PCM) but I don't think it'll work properly with our players as they don't output decoded PCM from AC3 in Pass through mode, and they don't output anything from AC3 in Stereo mode.
Happy to be proven wrong, but I'm pretty sure hooking that converter directly too a BrightSign player's output and playing an AC3 source in Pass through will either result in silence (If the converter is "polite") or loud "digital chatter" like cards flapping on a bicycle wheel.
