No AC3 playback in Brightwall

I created a 3 screen Brightwall setup with 3 1080p23.98 sources
I need surround sound so I added a AC3 3channel 3.0 track to the mpeg2 TS stream of one screen.
audio set pass trough on HDMI

Audio refuses to play.
If author the same file as a standalone video it plays fine.

If I author the 3 players to play in sync the old style it also plays fine.

but I want to use Brightwall for enhanced synchronization with dolby ac3 sound from one player.
Has someone encountered this problem and know if this can be solved?

Tnx  Ivo

In a BrightWall, only Screen 1 plays the audio of its media.

    Thanks for the explanation.
This is something I never could have guessed.
I so no reason why limiting audio to only one player with Brightwall
Hope this is going to be possible in the future.

It's documented in the part about the Audio Output.
    http://docs.brightsign.biz/display/DOC/Creating+a+BrightWall+Presentation

It's by design as having more than one screen outputting audio will cause an echo effect if there is even the slightest timing discrepancy.

If you need audio from more than one player, you should use separate synchronized presentations.

    HI Brandon,

I'm aware not spreading audio channels over different players for that reason but sometimes you want to have some creative flexibility

    thanks for the help

Yes, I often do trade show booths and events with multiple screens all playing the same video but, several feet apart.  I need audio at all the players, they are far enough apart that the small delay won't matter in that environment.

I would love to use BrightWall for this, but can't, I always have to go back to doing the old Master/Slave setup for this.

I really really wish there was a way to override this.  The audio is already in the videos at each of the players, so even if at least we could do something like change a no to a yes, a 0 to a 1, a False to a True, in one of the  xml config files to have this option available would be nice, for those who are in situations that need the audio from all the players and understand the limitations.

    Thank you.
