Hello all,
Newbie member and novice Brightsign Developer here.
Current setup is simple, 1 homescreen JPEG and 7 audio files that can be selected and played via user input buttons going to the GPIO pins.
All user inputs work fine, but I looking for a way if possible to at anytime during the playback immediately interrupt the current file and return to the homescreen.
So far, I am using a media end event to return the user to the homescreen in order to select another one of the 7 files. The problem for me is, if a student accidently hits one of the files that they have already heard, they are locked out from choosing any other file until current file plays out in its entirety.
If you have any advice you might have for me, I would truly appreciate it.
