Display basic contents on two Samsung 65' screens

I would like to use BrightSign to display its contents simultaneously on two Samsung screens. What device should I select?

Background: I like to display some presentation material (company video) on a Samsung screen in Zone 1. Zone 2 will just show the time and location and Zone 3 some basic RSS feed.  That contents need to be displayed in on two Samsung screens (two rooms nearby server room) and I will get two HDMI cables from those rooms directly to the server rack.

I know the XC2055 does offer this but rather expensive unit with a lot of features I will not use. Another option may be to use 2 x XD1024 as alternative but than I need to maintain 2 units. Advance of 2 x XD1024 might be (compared with XC2055) that I can still create two different contents in future if I like. I can also use 1 x XD1024 and use a HDMI splitter?

The splitter config makes sense to me.

HDMI extension over HDbaseT might be worth exploring too in case CAT cables are already available.
