We have an XT1144 Brightsign. Most of our presentation is slides with background music. There are a couple of videos however that play that do not need the background music to be playing at the same time. Is there a way to do this on our brightsign. We are using BrightsignAuthorConnected. Is this something I would need to be using a different version of the software to do or can I do it with the current authoring software. Any help is greatly appreciated. We are outputting brightsign over local network, not over HDMI port. Thanks!

Mark Richards Under the video state properties. Expand the Advanced section. You can add and entry and exit command to this state as follows:
Zone volume, Set, <your background music zone>, 0 to mute it, 100 for maximun volume (or any interger between them)
Commands on the entry section will be executed when the video starts. Commands on the exit state will be executed at the end of this video state. So you can mute off the backgound audio zone during playback of individual videos.

Jim Williams Hi Mark, thank you so much for that information. Just implemented it and it does exactly what we needed. I appreciate you taking the time to reply.
