Shared scheduling

I have multiple different users that want to be able to share a Brightsign schedule. This way one person can create the schedule, add whatever presentations they want, save & publish. Then the other person can open that schedule, add the presentations they need to, and save & publish, without wiping out the first person's scheduled presentations.

The issue is the second person can open the schedule save (*.bpsk) but when they try to save or publish it, Brightauthor:connected has a fatal error and crashes.

Is this something that's supported, and we're just missing something? Is it completely unsupported and I need to look at a software app like Yodeck?

    Hi,

I had the same issue with a customer. The problem on our case was, that if one of the presentation included in the schedule is not found (like in a directory that the 2nd person can't enter), it will come up with this "fatal error".

Also a problem is, if the customer is using MS Onedrive as the files are prompted with the user names. So BA Connect reads this as a different path and can't load the presentation and... see above :-)

We finally fixed that problem as we assured that all clients have access to the folders that contain the schedule and the presentation and it is a standard path (like 192.168.1.xxx\projects and not User\projects)
