Connecting to LS425 Over Serial With Arduino

Hello,

I'm currently using a BrightSign LS425.  I'm trying to connect to it over the serial port, using the USB-C to serial converter.  I'm trying to talk to it with a microcontroller...

I'm having some trouble doing this and can't seem to find any instructions or tutorials anywhere...

Any help or guidance will be appreciated :)

    Start by connecting the serial port to terminal emulator on laptop such as Putty, TerraTerm, etc…

    Hi June,

    I was having the same issue with a LS425 and an Arduino MEGA.  I have had success with the LS424 but could not get the 425 to work using the usb-c serial cable from brightsign.  I read your thread on adafruit but Im still a little unsure of how you modified the cable.  Any chance you could share a wiring schematic?   I'd really appreciate it
