Just wanting to know if it is possible to setup a situation where if a video is playing in a certain zone, could a timed event that would change presentations be either held off, or canceled until next time around?
Also, Can you resize zones interactively like by key press?

Yes, you can resize the zones via a command. You should double-click on the state or event, go to Advanced tab, add command > other - resize zone.
