Hi!

Just want to know if there is some way to program a Reboot for everyday a certain hour?

 

I tried to find it on google but didnt get anything back.

  This video describes how to add a reboot command to a presentation:

  in short:

  - you add an extra zone to a presentation;

  - add Event Handler to that zone;

  - add interactive event (that will trigger a reboot) to Event Handler, add "Other - Reboot" command to this interactive event.

  We got a BS working with a touch screen and everyday at 4pm the touch fails, so Im programming a reboot to fix this.

  I have some LS423 with the last firmware(7.1.95)(BA 4.7.2.5) and a Time/Clock event everyday at 6:00 to reboot the players.

  They make the reboot but some of them, and not always, when come from the reboot, gets a wrong time (5:59) and then reboots again and continues rebooting until i go to he diagnostic server and change the hour manually.

   

  What could be causing it?

  Do your players have access to NTP server, to synchronize their clocks?

  Assuming there is some limitation with the onboard clock, you could structure your presentation in such a way that the Time/Clock event is not available for few minutes, or few hours hours, right after a restart.

  Assuming that players have access to NTP, that would give them time to sync their clocks, so they do not reboot immediately.
