HD600 composite output labeled wrong?

I have a HD600 set to play VIDEOMODE ntsc. On the face of the unit it is labeled ntsc (Y). Plugging it into the (Y) output on the back gets me a black and white image. It is only when switching it to the blue (Pb) output that I get the correct color image? Am I totally confused or is the face of this model labeled incorrectly?

    I've also tried this unit on four different divices using the composite video mode.  All new divices btw.  A samsung 40" lcd screen played fine, a Sharp 20" lcd screen played fine, a Sharp 40" lcd screen just flashes video signal would not sync, and also a Christie DLP projector same flashing of signal would not sync.



    Component however works fine on all devices.

    I had the same issue.  NTSC on the front says "Y", the hardware manual says composite video comes out of the "Pb".  Black and white on the "Y", color on the "Pb", unit is set to NTSC video dimensions in the playlist.  Using 40" Panasonic plasma displays.
