HD110 VGA versus DVI visual difference

My 1024x768 video files play fine with either connection but I am experiencing the DVI connection has a much brighter, less saturation and less contrast than using the VGA. Is this normal or is there a workaround? It is washed out and the blacks are not black.

Thank you for any help.

Can you confirm if this happens just using HDMI or if it only occurs when you use an adapter to go from HDMI to DVI? There shouldn't be any degradation in quality going from VGA to HDMI.

-This happens with videos and images?

    -Which display are you using?

It occurs when using an HDMI-to-DVI adapter and into a standard computer LCD monitor which has DVI and VGA inputs. This seems to occur with videos and not images. I have tried two different adapters.

An HDMI cable output to a LCD TV works fine. When the HDMI is adapted to DVI and connected to computer grade monitors is when the videos are too bright and washed out.

What monitor is this? What resolution are you outputting to the display?

We can try setting the video output from the Brightsign explicitly instead of letting automode set the video.

Is 1024x768 the output you're using or want to use over hdmi?
