810 csv glitch

Hi all. I'm using a csv on an 810, and upon adding more "state"s, it now freezes on some jpg's. If I change the order of the states, different ones freeze. I have 110 total horizontal rows in this csv table. Is there a limit on how many states there can be? I don't see the dim array thing like there was in the autorun on the 600.

Before you ask, I could send you the csv, but sending all the movie and picture files would be very problematic, as they are big and many.

I did try going to the beta software, I tried a different sd card, and I tried saving the cvs, written in Open Office, from Excel. Nothing changed.

Because the pic's work or not depending on the order in the csv, I guess it can't be corrupted picture files.

Also, why is the 810 limited to only one timeout? I would like to have different pictures be on the screen for different amounts of time. Or am I missing something? g

there's an mstimeout keyword that for milliseconds. So, for 5 seconds, it would be mstimeout:5000. You can use as many of them as you want.

I'll have to open the autorun to verify if there's the same limit to states. Please check the size of your images. I've seen odd image behavior with large images from digital cameras. Your images should be larger than 1920x1080.

For best look, they should match whatever your target screen resolution is.

Thanks for pointing out the other mstimeout. I did read the user guide, but sometimes you only see what you expect to see, being used to the 600 and all.

All my jpg's are 1360x768, as are my videos; same as my screen resolution. I believe the trouble started when I added more states to the file, but I was in the process of testing and maybe didn't notice the trouble before. It is difficult to test hundreds of different button choices, and the boss keeps making changes.

By the way, I was going to use png pictures, but the jpg's change faster. Maybe a future feature might be some indication for the operator that a touch-screen input has been recognized. A sound click or a spinning ball or hour glass. Many of my test subjects get very confused when nothing happens instantaneously.                g

My bad. I found my own error, finally. I had a state referring to a picture that didn't exist anymore. And even though nothing pointed to that state, and it was never displayed, it still hung up when other states were looking for something to preload. That's why it was hanging nowhere near where the actual problem was. Sorry for the trouble.     g
