HD2000 LED outputs

I need to drive multiple LED's from each of the LED output pins of the HD2000 unit (Ie. need more power than the unit's 3.3v @ 24mA)
Can the LED outputs of the HD2000 be used as a switch (GPIO), so this can be used to switch an external relay??

    The gpios can't be used for inputs. But, maybe I misunderstand your question. You can use the HD2000 led outputs for signaling. And, if you need more than the 3.3v that the led outputs support, you can use intermediate hardware to bridge the voltage gap.
