IR remote code for slide show w/HD810

I am trying to step through jpg/mpg's using the east and west buttons on the Sound bridge remote. Can I use a CSV file. I'm having a hard time getting started. Can anyone provide me with some code snippets to point me in the right direction? Thanks.

    Yes, you can do this with a csv file. I'll send you a sample csv file. But, IR support on the compacts requires an external USB IR transceiver. We've added support for the USB IR transceiver from Iguanaworks, the one with the two leds.

    Would you happen to know how long I can make the usb cable for this iguana IR device? Is 5ft the limit? Also, does the beta software for the Roku support the iguana.

    Firmware 3.1.46 does support that device. I don't know what the limitations are for a cable run for the USB device. I would assume 5FT for a USB cable should be fine. I need to check.
