Enable / Disable Autoschedule

Hi Lyndon,

Hope all is well. Just quickly checking if you've had a moment to look into this functionality that we had emailed each other about. I have a client that would like to be able to enable and disable an autoschedule playlist with GPIO buttons. I'm admittedly trying to avoid writing a custom script but that is no problem if you feel it's the best way to proceed.

  I haven't had a chance to do much on it. Did you say when you needed it? I had done somework about interrupting the schedule so I know it's possible to set a variable to true or false, and then check it whenever one o the schedule timers go off. If igore is set true, you can then ignore what timers are supposed to do.

  Thanks very much for looking into it.  I'm waiting to hear back from the client for some other functionality he is testing but I anticipate that I'll need to wrap this up by end of next week.  As I said it isn't a problem to write a custom script but aside from the autoschedule interrupt it is a perfect job for the state table method.
  
  
  
  The schedule variable you describe sounds like it would work for the client with a dedicated GPIO button to set the variable true and another button to set it false.  The user would still have a play button for when they are in "manual" mode.

  My client's schedule is firming up - I need to deliver this mid/late next week.  Any chance your earlier work on it is close enough for me to try out?  As I said previously I can cobble a custom script together if not; I just may need some pointers with the timer function.
